The Game Awards 2017, todo lo que necesitas saber
Un a?o m¨¢s, la industria del videojuego clausura un curso inolvidable de lanzamientos y la llegada de nuevas consolas que le inyectan una buena dosis de vida a la presente generaci¨®n. Ha sido un curso repleto de noticias, cambios en los modelos de negocio y juegos, sobre todo juegos que se han consolidado en algunos casos como algunos de los mejores de la historia en su g¨¦nero.
The Game Awards 2017 se presenta como el evento m¨¢s multitudinario a nivel de reconocimiento medi¨¢tico, con la batuta de equivaler a los Premios Oscar de la industria del ocio electr¨®nico.
La edici¨®n de este a?o ha confirmado la presencia de Hideo Kojima y Guillermo del Toro, adem¨¢s de otros artistas como el guitarrista de Avenged Sevenfold conocido como Synyster Gates y a la violonchelista de m¨²sica cl¨¢sica Tina Guo, que interpretar¨¢n diferentes temas en el evento.

Lo que antes conoc¨ªamos como los premios de Spike TV, poco a poco fue derivando en un evento no limitado al p¨²blico americano que ten¨ªa contratada dicha cadena privada desde 2003, sino que ahora se concibe como una ceremonia a nivel global, que se sigue en todas las partes del planeta.
Hace solo unos d¨ªas conoc¨ªamos que los ingresos de videojuegos iban a generar al t¨¦rmino del a?o 2017 m¨¢s de 116 mil millones de d¨®lares, una de las industrias de consumo con m¨¢s peso del capitalismo, superando incluso a otras actividades mediatizadas como el mismo deporte. Y las estimaciones son al alza, con previsiones de 143.5 millones de d¨®lares.
Es por ello que The Game Awards 2017 quiere seguir creciendo, porque quiere hacerlo al ritmo que lo hace la industria. La gala estar¨¢ protagonizada una vez m¨¢s por Geoff Keighley, periodista y productor del evento. Durante estos ¨²ltimos d¨ªas, incluso semanas, se han ido desvelando las cosas que nos esperan este pr¨®ximo viernes 7 de diciembre, concretamente en la madrugada del jueves al viernes, as¨ª que aqu¨ª os dejamos con las noticias m¨¢s relevantes por ahora junto a la lista de juegos nominados.
?Cu¨¢l se llevar¨¢ el ansiado GOTY? Entre los candidatos est¨¢n Horizon Zero Dawn, The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild, PlayerUnknown's Battlegrounds, Persona 5 y Super Mario Odyssey.
