Carlos Vela talks about not being summoned by Mexico
The Mexican striker and captain of Los Angeles FC talked about not being with the Mexican National team for this upcoming international break.
Mexico National team is getting ready for the commitments of the international break in preparation for the upcoming Gold Cup 2019, and on this FIFA date, 'El Tri' will face Chile and Paraguay, and they'll do it without striker Carlos Vela.
Coach Gerardo Martino did not summon the LAFC captain for the friendlies, an announcement that came as a surprise after the great moment Vela is living with his team at the start of the MLS season.
The Mexican refered to this after the game at Yankee Stadium where LAFC draw 2-2 with New York City FC.
"Well, that's what happens, when I'm there they kill me, when I'm out, they want me there. It's never quite right. I think they have terrific players, and always have new players that are doing well."

In the end, Carlos Vela wished luck to his teammates in the Mexico National team. "I hope they do a good job; I always want Mexico to win."
