New England Revolution to play a charity match against Chelsea
The New England Revolution and Chelsea announced they will face each other in a charity game during the summer of 2019 at Gillette Stadium.
Chelsea has announced a charity match against the New England Revolution that will take place on Wednesday, May 15 at Gillette Stadium.
The purpose of the game is to fight the on-going antisemitism and discrimination that has rised around the world as part of the 'Say No To Antisemitism' campaign.
Both clubs have teamed up to raise awareness of hate crimes around the world and work together with the powers of sport to bring people together and fight hate and prejudice in all its forms.
Tickets for 'Final Whistle on Hate,' as the game was named will go on sale to the public on March 15th, and all the profits will go to organizations promoting equality and tolerance.
Club owners Roman Abramovich and Robert Kraft will each donate 1 million dollars in support of the cause as they came with the idea for the event.
