El domingo 4 de febrero se celebran los Grammy 2024, en los que la Academia de Grabaci¨®n premiar¨¢ lo mejor de la m¨²sica del a?o pasado. La ceremonia ser¨¢ transmitida en vivo por CBS y Paramount+ y contar¨¢ con la presencia de Trevor Noah como presentador.
En noviembre del a?o pasado, la Academia de Grabaci¨®n dio a conocer a los artistas y canciones nominadas. SZA es la artista m¨¢s nominada este a?o, al aparecer en 9 categor¨ªas.
A SZA le siguen Phoebe Bridgers, Victoria Mon¨¦t y el ingeniero musical Serban Ghenea con siete nominaciones cada uno. Jon Batiste, boygenius, Brandy Clark, Miley Cyrus, Billie Eilish, Olivia Rodrigo, Taylor Swift y Jack Antonoff tienen cada uno seis nominaciones.

Esta edici¨®n llega con algunos cambios, como la incorporaci¨®n de tres nuevas categor¨ªas: Mejor interpretaci¨®n de m¨²sica africana, Mejor ¨¢lbum de jazz alternativo y Mejor grabaci¨®n de baile pop, dando un total de 94 ternas.
¡°Estas adiciones de categor¨ªas hist¨®ricas son parte de un conjunto m¨¢s amplio de actualizaciones y enmiendas, que entrar¨¢n en vigor inmediatamente en los GRAMMY de 2024, con el objetivo de hacer que el proceso de los Premios GRAMMY sea ¡®m¨¢s justo, transparente y preciso¡¯¡±, se?al¨® el director ejecutivo de la Academia de la Grabaci¨®n, Harvey Mason Jr.
